Tooth extractions

When is tooth extraction necessary?

A „Bölcsességfog eltávolítása” angol megfelelői:

The removal of wisdom teeth represents a special case of tooth extraction. Often, there is insufficient space for wisdom teeth to erupt properly. This can lead to gum inflammation and tooth decay, or by pushing against adjacent teeth, it may cause crowding and subsequent bite abnormalities (malocclusion). Before the removal of wisdom teeth, our specialist assesses the position of the tooth using a panoramic X-ray or a 3D CT scan, and plans the surgery based on these findings.

Bone Grafting / Sinus Lift (Sinus Augmentation)

It may occur that there is insufficient bone volume in the jaw required for the placement and stability of an implant. In such cases, bone grafting or a sinus lift may be necessary. Our oral surgeons also perform these supplementary procedures.
