Implatation

What is a dental implant or implantation?

As we age, the number of our teeth can decrease for various reasons. Replacing missing teeth as soon as possible is important not only for aesthetic reasons but also for health. Long-term tooth loss can lead to digestive problems in addition to affecting appearance.

Dental implantation is the most modern method for replacing missing teeth. Implantation is a painless dental procedure performed under local anesthesia. During the treatment, an artificial tooth root is placed into the jawbone beneath the gum line. A temporary tooth is then attached, followed by the final restoration after the healing period. The complete healing process takes 3–6 months, allowing the bone tissue to fully integrate with the implant.

What is a dental implant, or artificial tooth root?

The implant is an artificial tooth root made of titanium. It is a biocompatible material, which means the body accepts it perfectly, and even patients with metal allergies do not experience an allergic reaction. It provides a lifelong solution for tooth replacement. In our clinic, we use only premium-quality dental implants from Sweden, Germany, Israel, and Korea, which meet the strictest standards and regulations. Implant brands used in our clinic:

If your denture is loose, if you cannot comfortably enjoy your favorite foods, or if your missing teeth bother you, a dental implant is the perfect solution.

Implantation can provide a solution for replacing a single tooth or multiple teeth:

In case of a single missing tooth

Only one dental implant is needed. A major advantage is that the adjacent teeth do not need to be ground down, as is required with a bridge.

In the case of several consecutive missing teeth

At least two implants are required, as these serve as the foundation for the dental bridge that replaces the missing teeth.

In case of complete tooth loss

We place 4–8 implants, on which a fixed dental prosthesis can be attached.
If you want to use your teeth confidently again and avoid uncomfortable, loose dentures, implant-supported dental prosthetics offer the most comfortable and long-lasting solution. They help you regain a stable, natural feeling while chewing and smiling.
